APPLICATION FOR MR. AND MS. CAS 2021 CONTINUES



The CNU Council of Liberal Arts and Sciences Students (CLASS) opens the application for the search of Mr. and Ms. CAS 2021 until September 5, 2021.


CLASS announced the said event through its Facebook page (Cebu Normal University - Council of Liberal Arts and Sciences Students) yesterday.


The pageant is open to all bonafide students of CNU under the Liberal Arts and Sciences degree program, and any aspiring applicants may send their application through the link provided in the Facebook post.


"Regarding the segments of our Mr. and Ms. CAS for this year, we will have their production number, runway, evening gown and formal wear, advocacy speech and, of course, Q & A. Now, to realize this event, the council is starting to look for sponsors and has already assigned people to do the job (look for sponsors). On the other hand, this morning we already finalized the official logo of our pageant as well as the over-all theme for this year's Mr. and Ms. CAS. We will meet the mayors and block chairpersons this Friday at 3 PM for consultation and discussion regarding the event and to answer all their questions and clarifications. " -John Dexter Megio, event chairman, said during an interview.


As of August 31, the event committee received 9 applicants. However, they cannot disclose the names yet, but rest assured that the official candidates will be posted on the CNU-CLASS Facebook page once completed.


Moreover, the committee is also hoping to invite judges with experience of pageantry and who have competed nationally or internationally. The lucky winners will receive plaques and surprise prizes.


The event will be live this coming September 24 at exactly 7 pm via the CNU-Council of Liberal Arts and Sciences Facebook page. The reigning Mr. and Ms. CAS Kim Matthew Abapo and Alekka Kwensley Cabalhug will have a special part in the coronation night as they turn over the crowns to the newly Mr. And Ms. CAS 2021.
